Aiming to make a good hit in the hole at the golf course while avoiding water or sand traps? Then perhaps it’s time that you take on a new experience to your golfing game. And that is actually what iGolf neo Pocketsize Golf GPS systems has to offer! Find the distance from your location to the green on your GPS maps so that you can assess the distance or how long you need to make that shot.

The iGolf GPS system gadget has an accuracy range of 1-3 yards, a rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery which will last up to 16 hours, an 80 x 120 high-contrast LCD Screen, a weight of 2.5 oz and a measurement of 3.25 inches width by 1.75 inches height by 0.75 inches diameter, you can just put it inside your pocket.

It holds up to 10 course files at once and when you are on a new golfing turf, you can download the slopes and terrain from the manufacturer’s website iGolf.com. You can also choose a feature where it allows you to pick the right club for the terrain or distance. Of course, these are mere suggestions but new/beginners can greatly benefit from it.

It is relatively easy to use which does not require any additional software for custom mapping. You just have to go to iGolf.com, but of course with a computer and internet access, which you can connect through a USB cable. You can also get pre-mapped golf courses anywhere in the world with Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Me or Windows 98 but you need to have a subscription to iGolf.

This golf GPS systems is preferred by many golfers because it gives simple yardages to front, middle and back of greens, as well as keeping track of how far one can hit the ball. Also, at $99 it is cheaper compared to other golfing GPS units like Skycaddie which is always having problems with its receptions. It is smaller than the other exisitng golf GPS system gadgets and downloading the maps on a terrain or slope is very easy to do. It is also accurate as every GPS unit can be or even more.

The only problem we have on iGolf GPS system is that because of its small size the belt clip is not sufficient to make it attached. Also, not all golf turfs are supported at the website and you need to make a subscription to iGolf before downloading maps. Solving these problems may make it really worth the price.
